When establishing our new format we wanted to create something that was more than just another restaurant, we wanted to cater for locals, in the heart of the vibrant Ancoats neighbourhood, with lovingly thought-out food and drink that’s also affordable.
Our aim is for diners to come to Squid Ink and enjoy the contemporary surroundings in a laid-back inviting environment, to feel at home and relax with us, with no bookings required.

All of our food is well sourced, predominantly using quality, seasonal organic ingredients including a selection of self-grown produce. The food and drink offerings are dynamic and ever changing; presented with Squid Ink’s signature twist. Whether sharing a selection of our small plate options, having nibbles or just popping in to enjoy a glass of one of our diverse wines, local beers, or our in-house cocktails or soft drinks.

Our tasting menus will now become a 6-weekly, ticketed event where we will offer both wine and soft drink pairings. For our regulars, who maybe missing our set menus, we will be happy to put together a menu for you from our small-plate selection! ;-)
